September

Earlier this year my parents moved to Portland, Oregon! I had never been to Portland or any of Oregon but absolutely fell in LOVE with it. Here are a few pics from Cannon Beach from when we visited for a few days

Noah was convinced that he belonged all the way in the ocean and kept running for the waves at every chance he got, even though it was freezing!

Noah loves to pull his goods out of his diaper. His clothes were filthy so I took them off and he was relishing in the opportunity to have such close access!

This is Noah's fake cry. He climbed on the stool and wasn't entirely sure how to get down to he looks at me and does this face with an oeeoeww! cry!

Just a cutie patootie!

August

August started out still in Michigan!

July

A pretty night view from our deck

The petting zoo at Thanksgiving Point!

Fourth of July and fires at Timpanogos

Rainy day Moose snuggles

Swimming and a book! Probably the best combo ever!

This year we went to Michigan with my family for a week where we got to hang out on the lake, see cousins and celebrate my Grandpa's wonderful life.

June

Aside from Noah's birthday celebrations, June turned out to be busy!

Noah discovered what sidewalk chalk tastes like...

Smoke from a fire on the mountain behind us, we almost had to be evacuated but luckily never did

Playing under the table, aka his poop space, but no worries, in this picture he's just playing

Done.

Still lovin' the tooth brush

The Big Number 1!

We celebrated Noah's birthday three times for his first birthday, and he hated the cake every time!

Here's the first party with Chris' parents when they visited right before Noah's birthday!

Birthday celebration number 2 on Noah's actual birthday with Chris and of course Noah! We opened presents in the morning and then after Noah's nap we went to the pool and then to Applebees for dinner where the wait staff sang to him and he got his first very own entre of mac n cheese and a sundae. Then we zoomed home for cake before bed!

And birthday celebration number 3 was with a couple of friends and my family. I thought after the last two failed birthday cakes that I'd try a cheese cake since Noah likes cheese so much and I even tried to shape it like his favorite character, Mickey Mouse. Well, he still didn't like the cake part. I actually think he was afraid of the candles, but what do ya do?!

At least Noah's little neighbor friend enjoyed his cake!

And take away the cake and he's happy again!

Here's a belated birthday present from us for Noah!
