6 months old!

Lights at Temple Square

The day after Thanksgiving we met up with some of my family to see the lights at Temple Square. It was so nice to go early cause although it was cold, it wasn't as cold as it usually is! Noah loved the lights but was getting pretty tired after a fun and crazy holiday!

Turkey Day

We spent Thanksgiving at my parents house in Birdseye, UT (Spanish Fork canyon on the way to Fairview) And Noah tried sweet potatoes for the first time! Not a big fan, but I think they're growing on him now! His sweater was knitted by a good friend of my sisters and is obviously very adorable on him!

Toys

Its amazing how fast babies start liking toys. Noah loves his toys, especially his drums. He also loves his books (I'm very happy about this!) and will open them up and 'read' them!

1st Snow

Noah got his first experience of snow on November 19! He didn't really know what to think of it, except it was weird to taste. I think he was a little confused as to why we'd stuff him in a snowsuit and set him down outside on the ground in the midst of it.

1st Cereal

Well, Noah has hit another milestone! He had his first rice cereal on November 13. He wasn't too sure of it at first, but since he has decided he loves cereal but is still a little unsure of sweet potatoes, peas, and bananas, I think sweet potatoes are growing on him though!

Thumb Sucker

11.03.11

Well, we have a thumb sucker! It's always his right thumb and usually only if he's tired/hungry. Of course, he doesn't want us to have evidence of it so every time we go to take a picture of him sucking it, he takes it out. But here's one I caught. Pretty naughty, but pretty cute, unfortunately this pic doesn't do it justice!

Halloween

Gosh, I need to be more on top of blogging! But either way, Noah was a skeleton for Halloween! We didn't go out and his costume was actually skeleton jammies, but I have to say he was probably the cutest skeleton ever!

6 Months Old!

Time, of course, has sped up since Noah was born. On Thursday he turned SIX MONTHS OLD! I can't believe it, I just hope we're savouring every minute of him before he gets even bigger! I'm really excited for him to be growing and learning, but at the same time I wish he could stay just as he is forever and that our little family could be just like this forever! Here are some pics I took a couple of days ago (November 28, 2011), which you'll probably see on our Christmas card too!

Rolling, Sitting and some Bubbles

In an earlier post I mentioned Noah loving his feet... here he is hanging onto his feet during a diaper change, I guess he's just trying to be helpful! (09.26.11)

Noah has started to be interested in the washcloth and not just splashing in the tub, so I gave him a bath ball, which he decided was just fun to chew on (09.20.11)

Noah blows bubbles ALL the time. He blows them so excessively when he does it that his shirt could be wrung out, it's so full of saliva. (09.19.11)

Asleep in the jogger before we made it home - it is always so bright for him, he seems to like the shades 09.24.11

One thing is for sure, Noah wants to be sitting or standing pretty much all the time. If he lays down when he's not napping or sleeping at night he tries to do situps to get up. So although I feel like it's a little early for him to be sitting, but he wants it so bad, I guess I can't be too surprised. He's still working on balance and sitting up straight, but he can now sit like this for a few moments and he thinks he is hot stuff doing it! (09.24.11)

Noah loves to sleep on his side and has pretty much loved it since day one. But now he can roll over onto his side whenever he wants to! I went in to get him in the morning yesterday and he had rolled onto his side and was just chattin' it up with his puppy and Peter Rabbit on his bumper (09.26.11).

September 2011

With September comes football season. Its funny, I don't watch TV with Noah, but Chris does and out of everything Chris watches, football is Noah's favorite! Was he destined to be Chris' son or what!? I wasn't feeling well last week and tried to put a movie on for Noah even though I know he's a little young for it. He wasn't interested at all. But football, is another story. These two pics were from 09.01.11... watching the game...

Uh, oh, things are looking a little serious...
09.07.11 Fun in the jungle gym, start with some tummy time...

Then roll over...

Wait, what's that camera?

Who cares?! The jungle gym is great!

...And done.

09.08.11 Bath time fingers - Noah has started chewing on his fingers. I think he's starting to teeth a bit. There are no teeth coming through and he's not fussy, but he just wants to chew.

First Haircut

Noah was born with a decent amount of hair, but then it all fell out except for what was left in the back. I had a really hard time parting with it, but we finally decided it was time to buzz the skullet! (08.21.11)

Before

Noah was wondering what we were doing, but he didn't seem to care too much, or at least he didn't cry! I do have to give hair dressers props, his hair is really fine it was harder than I thought it'd be to buzz it!

Was there ever a cuter baby?

Sure, I'm biased, but here are a couple of pics of the cutest baby ever!
