Warm Weather Dreaming

It's the beginning of Winter, but with the holiday season I've got to think about how lucky and thankful I am. This of course turned to my thinking about how happy I am to be married to Chris and how fortunate we were to be married in Hawaii with both of our immediate families! We were also lucky to get a few pictures on the beach that was right next to the temple we were married in (even though it was ridiculously windy!) I'll change our header pic in a while because it is sooo big, but for now, here's another picture from our wedding 2 1/2 years ago! I know, cheesy, but for those that don't know me all that well, I love cheesy, sappy stuff!

This is the most curl my hair will give me - this is with a ton of hairspray and mousse and after I slept with it in braids and then curled it... after the wind blew through it it was all gone :(

Impossible

Here is a picture of my puppies! They are impossible to take pics of, but I thought this one was cute. Usually they see me crouch with the camera and think that that means they should run over and jump on me...

Thanksgiving

So, for Thanksgiving, we had Chris' family here! It was crazy busy, but so fun to see everyone!

Here's Brad cleaning up after his daughter's bath! He is married to Chris' sister, Cynthia... we were sad we could only see them for acouple days - but its was so great to see them!

This is Brad and Cynthia's daughter Olivia (after her bath), she is always a super happy baby, but she was sick and kind of miserable while she was here :(

Cynthia - sorry for the blurry pic!

My brother, Justin, came to visit from California!

My Sister, Gracie (from BYU) and her Fiance, Tyler - Sorry for the shot Gracie - I tried to cover it for you... I hate pics like this of myself!

Chris and his Mom and her new tree!

Chris' sister, Laura, her cute daughter, Katelyn, and Chris' Dad

Chris, encouraging the dogs to be naughty

Dan, Laura's husband in our office/makeshift guest bedroom

Cute Katelyn - again, sorry so blurry, I think my camera needs to be cleaned or something!

Laura, Dan, Brad, Cynthia - yes, I know, I need to decorate already!

AAAAHHH!

So house stuff is pretty crazy! We've been crazy with it for, well, since we bought the house, but I am almost done with refinishing the kitchen cabinets. Chris has been working on framing the basement and finishing the deck and we get our new countertops soon (Although we should have already gotten them installed by now!)! So check back soon and I'll have some before and after pics! Happy fall! It's almost Christmas!

Sunrise in Saratoga

This was taken about a month ago. Pro or Con, I often get up before the sun, but on this day, I got up at just the right moment to see the cotton candy sky with the moon still out!

One Year Old

Okay, I promise I won't always post so much about my dogs! But they just turned a year old and I haven't taken nearly enough pictures, so I'm bombarding the blog with them! This is Cash spooning Moose. They have eaten one too many beds, so we just give them cheap towels to sleep on until they don't feel inclined to eat their bed!

BLM

We like to take the monsters to the BLM land behind our neighborhood so we can let them off their leashes. They are always in heaven! Also, they are so good, I can just whistle and they come back!

Pumpkin Carvers

So, we decided to let the dogs carve their own pumpkins since they started licking the pumpkins as soon as we let them see them. It was hilarious to watch! I don't think the pics are as funny as it was to watch Moose get his stuck upside down and try to figure out how he could still fit his entire mouth around it! Can you guess who carved what pumpkin between Chris and I? (Yes, we still carve pumpkins even though we haven't gone trick or treat-ing since middle school!) - Oh and don't look too closely at our icky cabinets, we are in the process of refinishing them!
