Monsters!

Of course, I have to post something about my dogs! Here's Cash.... It's so funny how he sits all the time... he has one leg out in this pic, but a lot of the time he has both legs out! He can sit normal, but when he's relaxed, he sits like this! It's funnier if you see him sitting like this across the room, but you get the picture...

And here's Moose standing on the gate. The gate can be seen easily from the front door and Moose always stands up like that when people come to the door... he won't bark, he just stands up and wags his tail, but a lot of people do a double take because he's so big!

Birthday!

So, I got super lucky for my birthday this year... Chris got me a pearl necklace! I am so super excited!

Here I am wearing my necklace... I had to post this because I make this face in pictures all the time, like something is really sour and I close one eye! It's ridiculous! I don't know if I do it all the time and I only know about it in pictures, but I have no idea why I always close an eye! This is actually not as bad as it can be... It's really humiliating!

Also, today I got my ring serviced! I don't know why I don't do it all the time, I get it done for free with the Shane Company since that's where Chris bought my ring... Look how pretty it is when it's clean!

Kitchen

So as you know we've been updating our house... Here's a pic of the kitchen... I'll post more of the rest of the house soon, but for now, you get the kitchen! Also, I will try to make 'soon' sooner than a month since that's the last time I said I'd post pics of the house! The corner of the table is shown in this pic, and it actually matches the stools at the counter. As you can also see, dog treats and dog stuff have invaded the shelf for cookbooks and on top of the toaster oven... we still need to switch the white outlets for black ones too!

What we did: 1. moved the fridge from next to the stove to the left side of the cabinets 2. had the lower cabinets custom made for where the fridge had been 3. built a shelf for cookbooks (and dog treats) 4. Got new granite counter tops 5. put trim an dbase boards on existing cabinets after sanding and stripping them (if you're thinking of doing this - at least the sanding and stripping part, it's sooo no worth it!) 6. Stained everything 7. Got new sink and faucet 8. Got new hardware for cabinets 9. put in tin copper panels for backsplash.... and I think that's all - not including installing the new hardwood floors when we first moved in....

Valentines Day!

For Valentine's Day, Chris got me these flowers... Aren't they pretty? They smell more than amazing... Chris is disappointed because he said he did the worst job ever picking these out because they didn't have as much selection as they usually have this year... but I think they're gorgeous! He's always so good at picking out flowers!

A couple weeks ago...

A couple weeks ago, we went snowboarding at Park City with a friend of Chris' from Texas... we haven't been in a while and can I just say that I was so sore after since we did some hiking to get some better snow as well...
